Kirsty Whyte - Creative Director - Furniture Designer - Soho House - Freedom To Exist - Heals - Habitat

Kirsty is an award-winning designer and director. In 2017, appointed as Creative & Product Director at Soho House and during her tenure she has been the driving force behind the success of beauty (Cowshed, Neville) and home (Soho Home) retail brands. Key achievements include leading on a brand refresh for Cowshed (launch Summer 2019), delivering beauty product innovation and managing collaborations with brands such as Bert & May, Wyse cashmere, Mary Katrantzou, Horizn Suitcases, Swell and Etta Loves.

As a “side hustle”, she co-founded start-up luxury, minimalist watch brand, Freedom to Exist in 2014, having identified a gap in the market for unisex watches that fit any wrist and are branding free with vintage styling. Previously she worked as Product and Design Manager at Heal’s, delivering and driving the company’s design strategy across all product categories of the business.

Internationally experienced, she has lived and worked in China and travelled for business purposes across Asia, Europe and the UK. Kirsty’s specialisms include product/ranging strategies, trends analysis, homeware and furniture design, international sourcing, photo/video shoots and international design fair representation. Kirsty has had items manufactured by Habitat, Made.com, Modus, Oliver B, Heal’s and Normann Copenhagen, and freelanced for Dwell, Next & British Home Stores.
