Blythe Range - AUTUMN WINTER - 2016

Heal's made its name as a furniture maker through the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century and the Blythe range has been designed to capture that same ethos of functional, quaker inspired furniture.

Taking its name from London’s iconic Blythe House, home to the Heal’s archive at the V&A, the beautifully crafted Blythe range captures the functional elegance of classic Arts and Crafts furniture through modern execution. Kirsty Whyte designed the range in-house and exclusive to Heal’s.

Inspired by Heal’s heritage, subtle design details such as the lipped edging, arched silhouette and Heal’s wooden cuff on each of the handles demonstrate the craftsmanship at the heart of the range

Manufactured in Europe and made from solid oak and oak veneer. All storage items have a curved drawer detail and traditional wooden drawer runners.

For AW16 the range consists of a kingsize bed, compact bedside table, chest of drawers, Tallboy, 2 door wardrobe & vanity mirror.

The range was then extended to include a sideboard for AW17.
