Each of the towered black railing units, from which this original Heal’s design gains its name, are separated by a series of levels that enable you to create your own shelving layout.

Available as single or sets of five, the lightly veneered oak shelving panels feature grooved indentation along the underside of either end to ensure they lock into place.

With a choice of tall or small railing systems, the Tower can create simple or complex storage solutions covering a whole wall or angled within a corner.

Adjustable feet ensure that it can adapt to any environment whether on an flat or uneven surface.

Blythe Range

An exclusive new collection for Heals by Kirsty Whyte.

Heal's made its name as a furniture maker through the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century and the Blythe range has been designed to capture that same ethos of functional, quaker inspired furniture.

Taking its name from London’s iconic Blythe House, home to the Heal’s archive at the V&A, the beautifully crafted Blythe range captures the functional elegance of classic Arts and Crafts furniture through modern execution. Kirsty Whyte designed the range in-house and exclusive to Heal’s.

Inspired by Heal’s heritage, subtle design details such as the lipped edging, arched silhouette and Heal’s wooden cuff on each of the handles demonstrate the craftsmanship at the heart of the range

Manufactured in Europe and made from solid oak and oak veneer. All storage items have a curved drawer detail and traditional wooden drawer runners.

For AW16 the range consists of a kingsize bed, compact bedside table, chest of drawers, Tallboy, 2 door wardrobe & vanity mirror.

Pinner Range

An exclusive new collection for Heals by Kirsty Whyte.

For our new Pinner range, we decided to take a different approach the design process. Working in conjunction with our in-store design consultants, we focused on the feedback of our customers many of whom requested traditional painted furniture but without the shabby-chic look.

With a rich heritage of design stretching back over 200 years, we began by visiting the Heal’s archive at the V&A. The classic look of a turned-wood four poster, once an iconic part of the Heal’s logo, stood out at once and seemed ripe for a refresh.

Each part of the range, which includes a Four Poster bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, dressing mirror, round dining table, rectangular (refectory) dining table, sideboard, dining chair and dining bench,  shares the same classically styled, turned leg detailing, with modern contours helping to creating an elegant silhouette.

Limed oak was synonymous with the designs of Ambrose Heal, so we decided to incorporate this finish into the solid oak tops. Each piece is then elegantly finished in a choice of two contemporary colours: Atlantic blue, with white ceramic handles and Cotton white with solid turned oak handles.

While the profile of this range appears simple, the real design is in the detail with dovetail joints on each drawer, wooden drawer runners and subtle wooden Heal’s branded handles.  (image attached).

The modern craft of Pinner has been applied to a variety of bedroom and dining room furniture, meaning you can continue the look throughout your home.

Orwell Wingback

Sartorially smart, the Heal's Orwell Armchair in Felt Wolf is a modern development of the traditional gentleman's wingback chair.

Made in the UK, this stylish armchair looks to Scandinavian design for inspiration before blending with the heritage and craft of British tailoring. The wonderful curves of the beech wood frame provide a contemporary shape, while the use of Texture Sky fabric on the arms and lumbar support provides a contrast to the Felt Wolf wool that covers the main body.

Part of the Elegant Purist collection, the Orwell is designed by Heal's for maximum style and comfort. Featuring highly-resilient serpentine springs along its spine, this armchair provides a relaxed sit and is also available with matching footstool.

Nordic Bed

Heal's Nordic King Size Bed With Leather Headboard. Inspired by wild Swedish countryside and Scandinavian design simplicity, the Nordic Bed is hand-crafted from raw leather and timbers with unique grain qualities. Raw materials are used to achieve a clean, modern look.

Handmade in Italy, it has a solid European oak bed frame, beech sprung slats, and a hand-finished natural leather headboard. Fine Italian leather that ages beautifully over time luxuriously slings over the back of the bed, and over the headboard. The exposed stitch detailing of the headboard offsets the oak frame for a natural, yet contemporary feel.

The Nordic Bed is part of the Heal's Future Craft Collection. Honest materials, traditional techniques and unique finishes make a craft piece, but it's the application of innovation and modern technology by designer-makers that elevates these one-of-a-kind pieces to future craft status.
