Developed in-house by Heal’s Product and Design Manager, Kirsty Whyte, Novak is an iconic range that takes the best of Fifties and Sixties retro styling, and brings it up to date for the modern home.

Soft curves and a modern choice of materials – walnut with brass detailing – deliver a timeless mid-century look with a contemporary twist. The dark wood finish is evocative of the Film Noir era that inspired it.

The bedside table features generous storage space with a full depth drawer and large lower shelf. The style and shape of the piece also provides dellicate side walls, helping to prevent any accidental knocks or spillages when reaching for the alarm clock.

Part of the Heal’s Mid-Century Modern Collection, which has sleek functionality and a streamlined aesthetic at its heart. A blend of iconic design classics and modern takes on mid-century style, the outcome is a clean Scandinavian look with film-noir sophistication.
